Heres a WIP shot from an animation project I am working on. The animation will show the process in which the Human Papilloma Virus invades the upper layer of skin (epithelium) of the cervix. The aethetic goal was to create the sense of an immense crevice which will contrast to the scale of the tiny virus particles.
